Getting Started
Do I need an account to browse listings?
No. Anyone can browse and search businesses for sale without signing up.
Do I need an account to enquire about a business?
No. Anyone can submit an enquiry on a listing without signing up — just provide your name, email, optional phone, and message.
Do I need an account to post a business for sale?
Yes. Posting a listing requires signing up (free). You then pay the one-time listing fee at checkout.
Listing Your Business
How much does it cost to list a business?
Standard listings cost $149 AUD (one-time, 90 days live). Premium listings cost $199 AUD (one-time, 120 days live, pinned to the top of search results). No commissions when your business sells — keep 100% of the sale.
What's the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard ($149): 90 days live, up to 5 photos, full messaging.
Premium ($199): everything in Standard, plus 30 extra days (120 total), up to 15 photos, pinned to the top of search results, and a gold “PREMIUM” badge for higher visibility.
How long does it take for my listing to go live?
Within seconds of payment. After Stripe Checkout completes, your listing is automatically activated and visible to buyers across Australia.
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Yes. Go to your Dashboard → click Edit Listing on any of your listings. You can update title, price, description, photos, and contact preferences. No re-payment required.
Can I deactivate my listing early?
Yes. From your Dashboard, click Deactivate on any listing — buyers will no longer see it. You can re-activate any time within your listing window. Listing fees aren’t refunded for early deactivation.
Can I mark my business as sold?
Yes. From your Dashboard, click "Mark as Sold" on the listing. It will display a green "✅ Sold!" badge publicly (great social proof) and stop accepting new enquiries.
What happens when my listing expires?
After 90 days (Standard) or 120 days (Premium), listings are automatically deactivated and removed from search. To re-list, post a new listing and pay again.
Buying a Business
How do I contact a seller?
On any listing page, fill out the enquiry form (name, email, optional phone, your message). Your message is forwarded to the seller via their preferred contact method, along with your name and email so they can reply. The seller's own email and phone stay hidden from you — they only become visible if the seller chooses to share them in their reply.
Can sellers see my email or phone number?
Sellers can see your contact details once you submit an enquiry — they need this to reply. Your details are never shown publicly on the site.
Are listings verified?
Sellers self-list and are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Always do your own due diligence (financials, lease terms, legal status, etc.) before agreeing to any purchase. Report suspicious listings to abuse@getbizzed.com.au.
Privacy & Safety
Will my contact details appear publicly?
No. As a seller, your email and phone are never shown on listing pages. Buyers contact you through an enquiry form, and our system forwards their message to your preferred method (email or phone).
How is my data handled?
See our Privacy Policy for full details. We use Stripe for payments, Supabase for data, and Resend for email — none of these resell your data.
How do I report a fraudulent listing?
Email abuse@getbizzed.com.au with the listing URL and a brief description. We review and remove fraudulent listings.
Pricing & Payments
How do I pay?
Stripe Checkout — Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Apple Pay, Google Pay all accepted. Payments are charged in AUD.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). GetBizzed never sees or stores your card details.
Are listing fees refundable?
No. Listing fees are one-time and non-refundable, including for early deactivation. See our Terms of Service.
Does GetBizzed take a commission when my business sells?
No. You pay the flat listing fee once — that's it. We never take a commission on the sale itself. Compare that to traditional brokers who charge 8–15% of the sale price.
Account
How do I sign up?
Click Sign up in the top-right of any page → enter email + password → click the verification link in your email. Takes about 60 seconds.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
On the Login page, click “Forgot password?” → enter your email → check your inbox for the reset link.
How do I delete my account?
Click your avatar in the top-right → My Profile → scroll to the “Danger zone” section → click Delete my account. Deletion is instant and permanent — all your listings, enquiries, and messages are wiped. Listing fees are not refunded.
